* Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday-Dale Carnegie
I believe this quote is trying to tell people not to worry about tomorrow, but only to worry about today. I think Dale Carnegie is saying live your life one day at a time. You cannot perfectly plan ahead your life; things will happen that you do not expect to happen. You will not be prepared for everything that you are faced with in life.
I also believe this quote is trying to tell people not to try to plan every detail of their life, but to just let life take its course. It is also saying, do not spend your life worrying about what will and will not happen; you cannot worry about everything.
Lastly, I believe this quote is saying that you should live your life one day at a time and only worry about today, because we do not know that there will be a tomorrow.

If you had a time machine and could travel in time, where would you go and why?
*If you have a time machine and could travel in time, where would you go? Why?
If I had a time machine and could travel in time, I would go back to about 2001 or 2002 when I still lived in my home town, Shakopee. I would go there because I really miss my home town. If I had the chance to go back, I would not ask my parents to move. Now that we have moved to where I live now, Belle Plaine, I regret having asked my parents to move. I dislike where I live and want to go back in time to change this because I do not like living in the small town of Belle Plaine. I miss being close to my friends and I dislike having to drive so far just to see them or even just to go shopping. I would aslo like to go back in time because after we moved, I was no longer able to participate in sports and I really miss that.

Your imagination is your preview of life's coming attractions. ~ Albert Einstein
Your imagination is your preview of life's coming attractions. ~ Albert Einstein
To me, this means that if you can imagine something happening, it can or it will. For instance, if you really want to become an artist or an athlete, and if you can imagine that and see yourself being that person, then you will become an artist or an athlete. I think Albert Einstein is trying to tell us that if we really want something and we work really hard for it and if we can see it happening in our future, than it can. What you imagine for yourself is proabaly what you will make of yourself or for yourself.

Peer-revision session
1.) Was the paper review activity helpful? Why or why not?
2.) What did you like/hate the most about it?
3.) What was the most useful feedback you got?
4.) What will you change after the peer-revision session?
1.) Yes. The paper review activity was very helpful because my group members helped me to better understand an analysis. They were able to answer all of my questions that I had and lead me in a good direction.
2.) What I liked most about the review activity was that I recieved a lot of helpful advice from my group members. The part that I hated most about it was that I do not recall being told that we had to give our members the revisions back on their printed copies so I did not have their revisions for them.
3.) The most useful feedback that I got back was really just a better understanding of an analysis paper. One of my group members really helped me understand what I did that was wrong and what I can do to fix it. My group also gave me a few opinions and good pieces of advice of what to change in my analysis.
4.) After the peer-review session I will probably end up changing my whole paper. I learned in my session that I wrote it wrong and how to write it correctly so I will end up changing the format and organization of my paper.

Most people learn by observation. There are the few who learn by experimentation. And there are those who actually TOUCH the fire to see if it is hot.
*Most people learn by observation and there are the few who learn by experimentation. And then there are those who actually TOUCH the fire to see if it's really hot. --Anonymous
To me this means that some people are good enough with just seeing someone else do something and learning from others experiments with things. Then there are those people who learn by doing things themselves and then paying attention to the consequences. And then you have the people who are not satisfied by observing what happens to other people and they want to see what will happen for themselves if they do it instead even if it means that they will have a negative consequence.
Kind of like I said before, you have the few people who learn by doing the experimentation, but most people learn by observing those people doing the experimentation. And then you have the people who are not satisfied with just watching those who are experimenting and they have to experiment for themselves.
